The jester Rigoletto is cursed after he encourages the Duke of Mantua to seduce a courtier's daughter. When Rigoletto's daughter Gilda falls in love with the Duke, the curse begins to take effect. Starring Carlos Álvarez in the title role and featuring celebrated canzone 'La donna è mobile', the Gran Teatre del Liceu company perform Verdi's great tragedy. Sung in Italian.
